How a Hollywood special effects artist discovered a smooth skin solution!

During her career as a special effects makeup artist, Camille Calvet would use silicone-based prosthetics in her work. One day, as she removed the prosthetics from an actor, she noticed that the skin exposed to the silicone looked softer and smoother. She found out that medical-grade silicone was being used in the medical industry to treat keloid scarring and began to experiment with silicone as a treatment for wrinkles.

We’ll talk to Camille Calvet about:

  • Her background in special effects and her work with Tom Cruise on Minority Report and Vanilla Sky.
  • Silc Skin: How and why she created the company.
  • Medical-grade Silicone and how it benefits the skin.
