Clean Beauty and the Coronavirus: Could Your DIY Beauty Do More Harm than Good?

The personal care industry is highly unregulated which means that companies are essentially free to call their products “clean, organic, green or eco, natural, and even nontoxic” with little government oversight. And since the coronavirus pandemic has forced many of us to reexamine what is healthy when it comes to our own personal care and beauty, how can we be sure that the products we use are not doing more harm than good?
